"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

hehe ..... i dun work here cause im only good wen i work on renders ....... i suck at drawings ....... anything i try just comes out as ....... well its bad ...... i mostly do avis and sigs and tuts ...... but my tuts outcomes arent tah tgreat either ..... i'll post when i have sumthin decent

the onmly thing you should make sure is that the render or stock you are using is OK (that you are allowed to use it and that it was not ripped from somewhere - usually taking renders/stocks from sites like planetrenders or any other known site is OK)

also, why don't you any work here? I'd like to see some
my first works were also horrible ( [link] ) yet I posted them and got the needed advice from people and got to my current level.
Most people will respect you more if you will be open for advice instead of closed - This will also allow you to improve faster.
